REDEFINE Regimen

The Redefine Regimen contains Retinal MD in Step 3, Redefine Overnight Reparative Lotion. Retinal MD is a gentle form of Vitamin A, more potent than Retinol. Redefine Overnight Restorative Cream uses Bakuchiol, a natural alternative to Retinol, to renew skin’s surface to reduce the appearance of deep wrinkles.

Redefine Regimen can be used at any age, when you start seeing signs of aging such as the first fine lines + wrinkles, loss of firmness or uneven skin texture. Everyone experiences signs of aging differently + in a different time frame. Generally, we recommend to start using Redefine at around the age of 30.

Both the cleansers gently exfoliate and remove daily impurities and makeup from the skin. The Redefine Daily Foaming Cleanser chemically exfoliates with Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) that gently exfoliate the skin surface for a more even appearance in skin tone + texture, while the Redefine Daily Clay Cleanser has physical exfoliators + Kaolin (a type of clay that gently exfoliates + purifies for a softer more even-looking skin texture. Redefine Daily Clay Cleanser can be used as a mask by leaving it on for 2 minutes before removing. With longer contact time on the skin, Kaolin clay can draw out even more impurities trapped deep in the pores. Cleaner pores look visibly smaller + less noticeable.

While these cleansers differ in ingredients, both help to reduce the look of lines + deep wrinkles to improve the appearance in skin tone + texture. Each cleanser is suitable for all skin types but Redefine Daily Clay Cleanser is best for combination to oily skin while Redefine Daily Foaming Cleanser is best for normal to dry skin. Some may choose to use both cleansers at different times of the day. For example, use Redefine Daily Foaming Cleanser in the morning + Redefine Daily Clay Cleanser as a mask at the end of the day when there is more time, or vice versa.

One is a medium-weight cream, while the other is a light-weight lotion. Each nourish your skin, improving the appearance of lines + deep wrinkles while providing the same level of protection against harmful UVA + UVB rays. Both are non-comedogenic + will not clog pores. Choose either our cream or lotion based on personal preference + skin type with knowledge + confidence that both deliver the same great results. While both are suitable for all skin types, our Cream is best for normal to dry skin + our Lotion is best for combination to oily skin.

If you are still considering whether to use a lotion or cream + currently use Redefine Regimen, you might prefer a lighter daytime lotion + a heavier cream to provide greater moisture while you sleep. Or you might also consider your environment. If you live in a more humid climate, you might prefer a lightweight lotion for both day + night use. However, if you live in an arid or dry climate, you may prefer more moisturizing day + night creams. This could also change with seasons, using a cream in the winter + a lotion during the summer.

For best results, follow these steps at least three nights per week, ramping up to every night:
1. Cleanse with the Redefine Daily Clay Cleanser or Foaming Cleanser + follow with the Redefine Pore Refining Toner. Always follow directions + read warnings before use.
2. Use the AMP MD Derma-Roller, divide face into sections (forehead, right side, left side, chin, nose, neck) + with moderate, comfortable pressure, roll the AMP MD Derma-Roller over each section 4-10 times, changing directions with each pass: vertically, horizontally, in a diagonal from upper left to lower right + in a diagonal from upper right to lower left.
3. After rolling, apply the contents of one Redefine Intensive Renewing Serum capsule to your entire face + neck.
4. Follow with the Redefine Overnight Restorative Cream or Redefine Overnight Reparative Lotion.

If you were not previously on an acne-targeting Regimen, this may be due to your skin acclimating to a new skincare Regimen. During the first six weeks of usage, you may experience temporary dryness or a few breakouts. Both Redefine Triple Defense Cream SPF 30 or Redfine Defense Lotion SPF 30 are non-comedogenic + will not clog pores. However, if you have oily skin, the lighter lotion might be a better option for you.

If you are still experiencing breakouts after six weeks, use the Unblemish Refining Acne Wash in place of the Redefine Cleanser every morning, then follow with the Redefine Pore Refining Toner + Redefine Triple Defense Cream or Lotion with SPF 30. For added benefits, three mornings a week use the Enhancements Micro-Dermabrasion Paste as directed.

If you were using products to manage your acne before you started Redefine Regimen, you might find that the Unblemish Regimen is a better choice for you.

Skin + skincare needs change over time. Dryness could be the result of a few things such as changes in diet, poor hydration, extreme weather, your activity level or changes in your skincare routine. If you experience dryness with Redefine Triple Defense Lotion SPF 30 you might try medium-weight Redefine Triple Defense Cream SPF 30 instead.

To address topical dryness and flaking we recommend exfoliation: Substitute the Enhancements Micro-Dermabrasion Paste for the Redefine Cleanser two to three times a week in the morning to promote maximum gentle exfoliation. So, on those mornings your routine will be: Enhancements Micro-Dermabrasion Paste, Redefine Pore Refining Toner + Redefine Triple Defense Cream SPF 30 or Redefine Triple Defense Lotion SPF 30.

If your skin continues to appear dry, you may need extra moisture as your skin acclimates. Here are a few suggestions for you: consider adding the Enhancements Active Hydration Serum. Apply Active Hydration after you cleanse and tone your skin and before you apply the AM or PM moisturizer. Hydrated skin not only looks healthier but is also primed to more readily accept ingredients from products that are layered on top.

The Redefine Regimen is formulated for all skin types. If your skin feels too oily while using the Redefine products, be sure to allow the Redefine Triple Defense Cream SPF 30 or Redefine Triple Defense Lotion SPF 30 to dry prior to applying any makeup. The Redefine Triple Defense Lotion SPF 30 may be the best choice for oily skin types.
